      DIXON -On the 16th May, at the Bank of Australasia, the wlfe of Joseph Black Dixon of a son.

      Grahame attened Brisbane Grammar School and then studied medicine at The University of Sydney between 1892 and 1897. He was Resident Medical Officer at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney in 1898. During WW1 he was an Army colonel and was a medical officer in the 3rd Field Ambulance at Gallipoli in 1915. He then served in Egypt and the Sinai Desert as Lieutenant Colonel in charge of the 1st Light Horse Field. He was awarded the CBE in 1919.
